For almost 40 years, QPAC has been the proud home of live performance in Queensland. Now every ticket sold also helps restore native habitat across the state, from koala country an hour west of Brisbane to the rainforests of the Daintree.

Sustainability is part of how QPAC operates, from decarbonisation to waste minimisation across every venue we run. Our newest theatre, the Glasshouse, holds a 5 Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia, recognising excellence in sustainable design and construction. With our new nature-based campaign, we're taking that commitment beyond our walls, so the audiences who fill our theatres also help restore the landscapes of Queensland.

Hidden Vale Koala Habitat
An hour west of Brisbane, the Hidden Vale project is restoring native habitat for koalas and other wildlife inside a nature refuge at Grandchester. It is delivered with the Turner Family Foundation, whose Hidden Vale Wildlife Centre supports researchers developing next generation conservation and wildlife management techniques, and it strengthens the Little Liverpool Range wildlife corridor so native species can move and adapt as the region changes.

Mabi Forest Restoration
Rebuilding one of Australia's rarest forest types in the Wet Tropics, with Terrain NRM.
Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Sunshine Coast Ecological Restoration
Clearing exotic grass and replanting native vegetation on previously cleared land, with Sunshine Coast Council.
